Independent software house

ATLAVEN

We build instruments — small, focused software products that measure honestly, ship finished, and tell you the truth even when it's inconvenient.

Figures from shipped, verified work — this band grows with the house.

The house

Software the way instruments are made.

An instrument has one job, does it precisely, and never lies about its reading. That's the bar for everything that leaves this house.

01

Honest numbers or no numbers.

If a metric can't be measured cleanly, our products say "not enough data" — they never invent a flattering figure. Inferred values are always labeled as inferred.

02

One product, one job, finished.

Each instrument is small enough to be excellent. We'd rather ship one complete tool than a suite of half-built ones.

03

No guaranteed-outcome promises.

Markets, algorithms and AI answers are probabilistic. Our products measure where you stand and verify what changed — they don't sell certainty that doesn't exist.

04

Built to be handed over.

Documented, tested, deployable by someone who's never met us. Software you can't hand over isn't an asset — it's a hostage.

Method

How an instrument gets made here.

Research the truth first

Before a line of code: what can actually be measured, what's honestly knowable, what do the papers and the data say? Products built on wishful metrics die of them.

Build small and sharp

The scope is cut until one person can hold the whole product in their head. Features fight for their place; most lose.

Verify against reality

Every claim in the interface is tested against live data before it ships — and re-verified after. If the test can't exist, neither can the claim.

Finish, document, hand over

A product is done when a stranger can run it from the docs alone. Then we stop building and let it prove itself.
